Hundreds of Iranian protesters call-out government
TEHRAN, Iran (KYMA, KECY) - Hundreds of protesters gathered in Iran's capital Saturday, accusing their government of deceit.
Video of the event shows protesters as they chanted "Resignation," calling-out their leaders for delaying the truth of the crash.
Relatives and friends of those who died set up candle-lit memorials near Amir Kabir University in Tehran.
Today Iran admitted its military had shot down the Ukrainian jet by accident, killing all 176 on board.
Before the admission, the Iranian government had repeatedly denied responsibility.
Foreign Governments including Canada have condemned the action, with Ukraine demanding compensation.
