CBS 13 Sports: Yuma City FC begins training ahead of debut season

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Yuma City FC held its first training session Sunday as the club prepares for its inaugural United Premier Soccer League season. Formerly known as Yuma United FC, the team returns semi-professional soccer to Yuma for the first time in more than a decade and will open league play in September following two preseason matches in August against professional clubs from Mexico.

The Arizona Diamondbacks head into the MLB All-Star break on a high note after rallying for a 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers to complete a three-game sweep. Arizona erased a 3-0 deficit before Paul Sewald recorded the save. The Diamondbacks return after the break to host the St. Louis Cardinals.
