CBS 13 Sports: Rocks roll at home

Yuma Catholic softball and baseball complete the trifecta against Tonopah Valley

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - The Yuma Catholic softball team climbed their overall record back to over .500 with a doubleheader sweep over Tonopah Valley on Thursday afternoon. The Lady Shamrocks rolled to a 12-2 win in game one and 21-1 in game two. Both games only lasting five innings. With the wins, Yuma Catholic is now 7-6 on the season.

The Yuma Catholic baseball team also had no problems with the Phoenix of Tonopah Valley. The Shamrocks rode the arm of Issac Araiza en route to a 14-0 win. Yuma Catholic is now 9-5 on the season.
