NBC 11 Sports: Matador teams continue to climb in NJCAA rankings

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Somerton football is riding high after their first win as a varsity program last Friday night.

All three Matador fall programs moved up in the NJCAA poll.

AWC soccer dominated the defending NJCAA D-II Champion Phoenix College 4-1 Monday night on the road.

The Diamondbacks have about a 5% chance of making the playoffs and need a lot of help from other teams in the NL Wild Card Race.
