NBC 11 Sports: Kofa signs seven athletes to next level

Soccer stole the afternoon, but volleyball and Special Olympics were represented too

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Seven Kofa seniors are taking their athletic talent beyond the high school ranks. Even more are yet to come.

Yuma Catholic baseball dominated Pusch Ridge 12-0 today, but the Kofa Kings struggled, falling 4-1 against the Hamilton Huskies. With the loss, the Kings will actually host a game because of the double-elimination format of the 6A bracket.

YC tennis continued their dominance on the courts, sweeping The Gregory School 5-0 to advance in the Division III team tennis bracket.
