NYC skyscrapers turn blue and orange to celebrate Knicks’ win

NEW YORK (CBS, KYMA) - Some of New York City's skyscrapers were shining blue and orange Sunday night after the New York Knicks completed a series sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers and advanced to the NBA Eastern Conference finals for the second straight season.

Footage taken from north Brooklyn shows the Empire State Building, One Vanderbilt, and the new JPMorgan Chase global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue displaying the Knicks' iconic colors.

"NYC skyscrapers looking nice all decked out after @nyknicks' sweep of 76ers," said Rob McDonagh, who took the video.

The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 144-114.
