Epic Universe theme park to open this week

ORLANDO, Fla. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - The new Universal Studios theme park, "Epic Universe," is opening this Thursday in Orlando, Florida.

The brand new park, owned by NBC's parent company NBCUniversal, features five brand new immersive worlds for guests to explore.

These include the Wizarding World of Harry Potter's Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon's Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park.

Epic Universe is Universal's fourth installment in Orlando, which also includes Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay, and is the first new Universal theme park to open in Florida since 1999.
