KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The suspect of the June 11 shooting of a 51-year-old man has been arrested by deputies of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office (RCSO).

According to a YPD press release, the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Nicholas Berry, was released from the hospital following a car crash that led to Berry being ejected from his white Cadillac car.

Assisting RCSO in Berry's arrest included Palm Desert Station, YPD said. From there, Berry was assigned to the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team, where he was then booked into the Riverside County Jail.

YPD says the suspect will be extradited to Yuma to face murder charges. KYMA will keep you updated as we continue following the story.
