UPDATE: Victims identified in suspected double homicide in Yuma

Follows recent update on status of second vicitm, plus suspect charges

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) has revealed the identities of the two victims connected to Saturday's suspected double homicide.

Public Affairs Sergeant Lori Franklin tells News 11 that the deceased victims have been identified as Pedro Aguayo Ramos, 43, and Christian Gonzalez, 38.

According to the YPD, officers pronounced Aguayo Ramos dead at the scene.

After transporting Gonzalez to the Yuma Regional Medical Center, authorities then airlifted him to a Phoenix-area hospital where he later succumbed to his life-threatening injuries.

Sgt. Franklin says the suspect, 46, has been booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on multiple felony charges.
