Chevrolet announces new first-ever “Lead Dream Chaser” role

DETROIT, Mich. (KYMA, KECY) - Last week, Chevrolet announced a new first-ever role, "Lead Dream Chaser."

In a press release, the role will help someone pursue a lifelong dream or passion project by receiving a $100,000. The announcement comes after the company is celebrating 70 years.

The announcement also coincides with the spring release of the 2024 Chevy Trax, which the candidate will drive for three months.

In addition, Chevrolet will ask the candidate to document their experience via social media.

Furthermore, the application process is part of partnership between Chevrolet and Everette Taylor, CEO of Kickstarter.

“The past few years have caused many to consider turning their ideas and ambitions into reality. I'm excited to help Chevy find a qualified person who will pursue their dream,” said Taylor.

Applications are now open since January 13, and will be open for 30 days. After that, Chevrolet and Taylor will select the finalists in March and then will select the winner in April.
