A group of Santa Clauses bring Christmas cheer to SantaCon
NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. (NBC) - SantaCon returned to New York City on Saturday.
People dressed up as the jolly man himself, and other holiday favorites, packed the streets for an all-day bar crawl.
The festivities then kicked off at Broadway and 40th Street with a dance party.
This occurred before the Santas made their way to dozens of participating bars and restaurants.
In preparation for this year, MTA banned alcohol on many trains for the weekend and deployed extra officers to deal with potentially rowdy crowds.
The event, held in the city, has been an ongoing event every December.
However, in 2020, organizers canceled the festivities because of the pandemic.
