Mid-Winter Fair opens in Imperial Valley

IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The Mid-Winter Fair is finally here and this time with new changes.

The fair will be adding an extra weekend to their schedule instead of two. The fair will also be in the Imperial Valley for three weekends.

It has seven new rides, which locals and everyone who visit can enjoy.

"We have a kiddy land, we have a cup wheel and then for majors, we have Starfighter, Conjuring and we have the Harbor Drive. The main one is the Diamond Wheel, which is the biggest wheel that's ever been in the Valley," said Stevie Dub, Entertainment manager.

Some locals say they are ready for good food, new rides and for an incredible weekend.

"I have gotten on the rides in lots of years but it used to be the Graviton, I don't know if that is still around...maybe I'm dating myself," said Gloria Gonzalez.
