Yuma man accused of child sexual abuse to be sentenced this week

UPDATE (9:17 AM): According to one of our reporters, the sentencing hearing for Matthew Lillie has been vacated, and will be rescheduled for this Thursday.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma man accused of child sexual abuse will learn his sentenced in court later Wednesday.

37-year-old Matthew David Lillie is being charged with three counts of sexual conduct with a minor who he knows. The alleged abuse happened between 2019 and 2023.

Lillie accepted a plea deal with the state during his court appearance last month, and his sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
