Lemur celebrates birthday with snack-filled party at San Francisco Zoo

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS, KYMA) - A spunky Coquerel's sifaka recently celebrated his birthday at the San Francisco Zoo with a snack-filled party.

The San Francisco Zoo released the footage of Neil the lemur enjoying his birthday with an assortment of treats.

"He knows how to enjoy a party! His beautifully decorated cake was made of leafeater chow with peanut butter glazed frosting, hibiscus roses and honeysuckle," the zoo wrote on X.

"He also had a giant gift bag with peanuts inside, and of course, the ball pit was a favorite, with peanuts waiting to be found! All shared, of course, with female Karen," the zoo added.
