Joaquin Hight – MMJ

Joaquin began his work at KYMA as a multimedia journalist on October 6th of 2025. 

He is a California-born, Yuma-raised college graduate with an associates degree in Television Production, with experiences as a part-time radio host and producer, producer and co-creator for a student-run television show, and a camera operator for national sports events.

Joaquin spent several months sharpening his skills through an internship with KOFA Border Radio, a local college radio station, before it turned into a part-time position where he used those skills to provide the station with high quality sound.

At the same time, he co-created and produced a television show run by students of the college, creating short films and live broadcasts for students.
