Local lawmakers discuss getting the economy back on track

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is collecting information from small businesses on how they plan to make sure customers are safe from COVID-19 if businesses reopen.

Arizona State Representative, Tim Dunn is currently collecting this information from small businesses with ACA. Some of the things they look for in businesses are their plans for social distancing and sanitation procedures if reopen to the public.

Representative Tim Dunn says he wants the governor to get things open as quickly as possible to get back to some kind of normalcy.

Just this week President Donald Trump announced a three phase plan to restore normal activity in places that are seeing a decrease in COVID-19 cases or those who have strong testing for the virus.

If you are a small business in Arizona you can email recovery@azcommerce.com and tdunn@azleg.gov to let them know your business plans.
