Border Patrol arrests man wanted for rape, murder
The U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a wanted man for rape and murder along with two others after illegally crossing the border.
Tucson Sector agents apprehended three men after illegally crossing into the United States through a mountainous area outside Nogales , reported the U.S. Customs and Border Protection ( CBP ).
Record checks revealed one the men, Juan Francisco Espinosa-Burgos, was wanted in Oregon City, Oregon for rape.
According to CBP , Espinosa-Burgos is also wanted in Mexico for homicide.
All three men will be processed for immigration violations.
Espinosa-Burgos will be handed over to Mexican law enforcement authorities following his extradition to Oregon for adjudication of his alleged crimes in the U.S.
