It appears that President Donald J. Trump has reverted back to his role in the Apprentice as he sent a letter basically telling the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation “You’re Fired”. Unfortunately, FBI Director James Comey didn’t receive the memo and according to sources got the news from the news.
The news went viral as a nation stood confused; Director Comey became a household name after launching an investigation against Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton. Many political analysts believe that the FBI’s investigation cost Clinton the election. According to the letter the proposal to fire Comey came from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosentein who referred to Comey’s handling of the Clinton email investigation as the reason for his termination.
The firing of Director James Comey comes as he led the investigation into possible connections between Russia and members of then Presidential Candidate Trump’s staff. Comey started his career serving under President George W. Bush and later President Barack Obama. His contract was set to expire in 2023.
