Navy base parade kicks off holiday season in the Imperial Valley

IMPERIAL, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - NAF El Centro is kickstarting the holiday season with a parade for the Imperial Valley.

From a press release, the Navy base is inviting all Valley residents to the annual Holiday Parade of Lights on Friday, December 2 at 7:00pm.

They can also participate in the celebration by joining the Sailors and their families on the installation.

Moreover, there will be 25 floats and marching groups moving down the base.

In addition, there will be local school marching bands, a classic car club, and more participating in the parade.

Not only that, KXO Radio's Gene Brister returns as the parade's premier announcer.

However, there is still room for more entries.
