President Biden casts his vote in Delaware
UPDATE (10:47 AM): President Biden cast his early-voting ballot in the 2024 General Election on Monday.
The president waited in line with other voters at a polling place in New Castle, Delaware. Biden met with a group of first time voters and helped an elderly down in line with her wheelchair.
When asked if this was bittersweet for him, Biden said, "No, this is just sweet."
After casting his ballot, Biden talked to some gathered reporters, calling Trump's rally Sunday night in New York "embarrassing."
"It's beneath any president, but that's what we're getting used to. That's why this election is so important. You know, most Presidential Scholars I've spoken to talk about the single most consequential thing about a president is character, character, and he puts that in question every time he opens his mouth," Biden expressed.
He also took questions on an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.
"My staff is talking to them right now I'm going to get out here getting a secure line and follow up on that. We need a cease fire. We should end this war. It should end. It should end. It should end," Biden shared.
Biden also was asked about Elon Musk's legally questionable million dollar giveaway to registered swing state voters.
"I think it's totally inappropriate," Biden remarked.

According to the White House, President Biden will travel to Baltimore and Philadelphia later this week.
