Increased height of border wall leads to more falls, deaths

Millions of dollars spent with more falls and injuries

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Researchers say the newly raised height of the border wall has increases the number of falls and deaths.

Ever since the wall was raised to 30 feet, San Diego's trauma center saw more than 300 admissions due to falling.

These increased admissions lead to more than $13 million in extra health care costs, all while hospital staff were dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
