16 AWC men's and women's soccer players sign letters of intent to four year colleges

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - After Arizona Western's incredible run to the NJCAA national championship game this past season, 13 sophomore's from the program on Thursday, signed letters of intent to continue their college playing days at the four year college level.

Arizona Western's women's program also sent three players to the next level.

In prep sports, Cibola softball extended their winning streak to six games with a 14-1 win over Kofa, ending Kofa's regular season.

In baseball, Gila Ridge held off Apollo 6-5.
