Brawley and Holtville baseball start 2022 tied at the top

HOLTVILLE, Calif. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - Imperial took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the fourth inning in Holtville on Friday night but the Viking bats came alive late to propel the Vikings to a 10-5 come from behind win. Holtville improves to 2-0 in Imperial Valley League Play.

Holtville remains tied with Brawley who had no problems with rival Central at Wiest Field. The Wildcats rolled to a 9-3 win and also start IVL play at 2-0.
