Border Patrol rescue 19-year-old Mexican man from drowning
El Centro Border Patrol agents rescued a 19-year-old Mexican man from drowning at the All-American Canal who was suspected of illegally entering the United States.
Following a Twitter post made Tuesday, Customs and Border Protection officials said agents tried to get rescue disks to the man but winds made the attempts unsuccessful. As the man continued to dip below the surface, agents removed their ballistic vests and duty belts to enter the water and pull the man out of the water.
