Lindsay Clancy returns to court two months after mistrial

DUXBURY, Mass. (NBC, KYMA) - Lindsay Clancy, the mother accused of killing her three children, is back in a Massachusetts courtroom Monday.

A judge listed to arguments about motions filed in the case since Clancy's trial ended with a jury failing to agree on a unanimous verdict.

Those motions are expected to be resolved, or at least examined, by the judge Monday.

Clancy was charged with killing her three children, but her legal team argued she was not responsible because she suffered from postpartum psychosis due to over medication.

The district attorney has not committed to a retrial, but has insisted the office will continue to pursue justice for the three children.
