Fan attending US Open disgusted by ‘sewage’ smell

NEW YORK (CBS, KYMA) - A fan attending the US Open in Queens, New York, said he encountered a disgusting smell that made it difficult to watch the tennis tournament Sunday, September 6.

TikTok user @oliviel filmed himself sitting in the stands, covering his mouth and nose while the sounds of a tennis match can be heard in the background.

On TikTok, @oliviel wrote, "You paid $300 to go to the US Open, but it smells like sewage and you can't watch."

According to one report, multiple fans at the Arthur Ashe Stadium struggled with the smell during the tournament over Labor Day weekend.
