Body camera footage shows the moment San Francisco 49ers Owner Jed York was arrested

(NBC, KYMA) - Police in Ohio have released bodycam video of the moment Jed York, the owner of the San Francisco 49ers, was arrested last Sunday.

The East Palestine Police Department releasing the video showing officers removing York from the driver's side of a vehicle and placing him in handcuffs.

An officer can be heard saying, step out of the car, and questioning him about why he was in the area, before he's walked to a police vehicle.

York pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools.

He was initially charged with engaging in prostitution, but prosecutors amended that to disorderly conduct.

York was sentenced to one day in jail, given credit for time served and ordered to pay more than $1,100 in fines.
