Idaho police release footage of mass shooting at In-N-Out Burger

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (CBS, KYMA) - Police in Idaho released new footage from a deadly mass shooting at a fast-food restaurant last weekend.

The suspect, identified as Chad Williams, is seen pulling up to the drive-thru window at In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls and firing at an employee inside.

The gunman then killed a customer in a car at the drive thru before wounding a former twin falls police officer who rushed to the scene.

Inside the restaurant, an off-duty trooper helped patrons and employees evacuate, and exchanged fire with the gunman, who later took his own life.

The Twin Falls Police Department (TFPD) held at a news conference Friday, saying they still don't have a motive for the attack.

"At this time, we have no other reason to believe that any other person was involved," said Chief Matthew Hicks with TFPD. "We believe that 10 people received gunshot wounds in this incident, with three of those people losing their lives."

Chief Hicks also said his department will no longer repeatedly use the suspect's name in order to keep the focus on the victims.
