Three dead after a shooting in Twin Falls, Idaho

TWIN CITIES, Idaho (NBC, KYMA) - Multiple people are dead after an an active shooter incident near In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho Saturday afternoon.

An active shooter fired shots near the Twin Falls In-N-Out, killing at least three people and injuring at least five others.

The Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce said shots were also fired at the visitors center.

The Twin Falls Police Department (TFPD) said the suspect is also dead, but the department does not know the motive of the shooter.

People who were injured were transported to the St. Lukes Magic Valley Medical Center as police worked to notify next of kin.

The surrounding businesses sheltered in place, and people in the area were bussed to the Twin Falls Courthouse to reunite with their families.

TFPD was first on scene and now partnering agencies are jumping in to help, to investigate the scene and identify what happened.
