Gila Ridge booster club's Birdie Bash making a return, regional MLB teams all make additions at trade deadline.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Southwest standout baseball player Jose "Peewee" Salcido signed his letter of intent to play at San Diego State University following the conclusion of his senior year.

The second annual Birdie Bash is set for August 22 at Mesa Del Sol to help raise money for the Gila Ridge golf team.

The Padres, Dodgers and Diamondbacks were all buyers at the trade deadline.
