CBS 13 Sports: Fifa World Cup enters round of 16 play

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Fifa World Cup has officially begun round of 16 play. We saw the first co-host nation in Canada fall earlier on Saturday after losing 3-0 against Morocco.

Mexico and the USA look to stay alive and clinch a spot in the quarterfinals. Mexico will take on England on Sunday. While the USA will take on Belgium on Monday.

Moving to the baseball diamond, the MLB all-star rosters were announced for the 2026 All-Star Game. The rosters featured 26 first-time participants. Among them are the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages and Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez.

The Dodgers also have Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy and Shohei Ohtani joining Pages. While Rodriguez will be joined by his teammate Corbin Caroll.

The San Diego Padres also have a lone participant. The most dominant closer so far this MLB season in Mason Miller.
