Arizona Western softball goes back-to-back in regional tournament

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Shamrocks made easy work of Tanque Verde with a 10-2 win and move on to face Northwest Christian in the semifinals on Tuesday.

Arizona Western softball defeated Eastern Arizona 7-1 to win the ACCAC tournament and stamp a ticket to the national championship tournament. Matador Jessica Smith was named MVP.

Arizona Western baseball had an unfortunate end to their season with a 4-2 loss to Cochise College.

Kofa baseball's season came to an end with a 12-6 loss to Chasteel. A 6-1 lead evaporated fast for the Kings to put a cap on the year.
