NBC 11 Sports: Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl 60, locals react
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 to win their second-ever Lombardi trophy.
Kenneth Walker was named MVP for his performance. He finished with 135 yards on 27 carries.
Seahawks fans in the Fortuna Foothills shared their excitement after the win.
"Well, we're very excited about this big win, but we looked forward to it all year," said Tim McQuade. "They kept getting better and better. The defense is strong. Everything's good."
"Great defense, great offense - what more can I say? My Hawks rock," shared Seahawks fan Julie.
