YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Gila Ridge pulled away in the second half to defeat Kofa 43-31 in a Yuma-area conference matchup Friday night, using strong defensive pressure to create separation.

Despite the loss, Kofa said the game served as a learning experience as the Kings look ahead to a potential playoff push later in the season.
