Movie, TV and streaming stars gather for 83rd Annual Golden Globes

LOS ANGELES (CBS, KYMA) - Movie, TV and streaming stars gathered in Beverly Hills for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards Sunday.

In a star-studded ballroom, Timothee Chalamet reigned "supreme" as he took home Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his performance in "Marty Supreme," beating George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio.

"I'm in a category with many greats, this category is stacked...I look up to all of you," Chalamet expressed.

The film "One Battle After Another" won Best Picture Musical or Comedy, Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson and Best Supporting Actress for Teyana Taylor.

"Hamnet" won Best Picture Drama and Best Actress for Jessie Buckley.

Golden Globes for Best Song and Best Animated Film went to "KPop Demon Hunters" while in television, "The Pitt" won Best TV Drama, with star Noah Wiley and creator R. Scott Gemmill honoring real-life first responders.

"Healthcare providers...are the real heroes," Gemmill remarked.

Seth Rogen's "The Studio" won for Best TV Musical or Comedy, and the award in a new category, Best Podcast went to a familiar name, former Golden Globes host, Amy Poehler.

"I'm big fans of all of you. Except for NPR. Just a bunch of celebs phoning it in, so try harder," Poehler joked.

Returning host Nikki Glaser roasted the room and the industry, and capped it off honoring the late Rob Reiner with a nod to "This is Spinal Tap" on a big night for Hollywood.

Another former Golden Globes host took home an award last night, comedian Ricky Gervais, who won Best Stand-Up Comedy for his special "Mortality."

The hit show "Adolescence" also took home top awards in four categories, including Best Limited Series.
