YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Los Angeles Chargers fell to the Houston Texans 20-16, ending their chance at the AFC West title. They have already clinched a playoff spot and currently hold the seventh seed with a matchup against the Denver Broncos to close out the regular season.
Matadors midfielder Asa Yamazaki signed with the University of California - Los Angeles after a tremendous two year stint at Arizona Western. She finished 2025 with eight goal and seven assists and earned NJCAA All-American honors in both years for the school.
The Yuma Blue Sox hosted tryouts today as they look to add more talent to their roster ahead of their first season in the Imperial Valley Men's League this summer.
