CBS 13 Sports: Yuma Special Olympics has bocce tournament

Chargers and Cardinals collapse for losses, Mercury unable to bounce back after Game 1 loss

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Yuma Special Olympics had its area bocce tournament. All athletes that participated qualified for the bocce tournament at the Arizona Special Olympics Fall Games in Surprise on October 24 and 25.

The Chargers offense started off hot but flared out, failing to add points to the scoreboard after the first quarter en route to a 27-10 loss to the Washington Commanders in Jayden Daniels return from injury.

Against the winless Titans, the Cardinals also got off to a great start and seemingly had the game in hand.

Tennessee was able to string together several drives in the second half for points, while Arizona's offense went flat. The Cardinals went on to lose 22-21 on a time-expiring field goal from 29 yards.

The Phoenix Mercury failed to come out of the second half with the same energy as the first half, leading to a 91-78 WNBA Finals Game 2 loss. The series will head back to Phoenix for Game 3 in what can be considered a must-win game.
