NBC 11 Sports: Antelope storms back to defeat Mountainside, AWC hires new baseball coach

The Lady Rams came back down two sets to defeat the Wolves in a 3-2 set volleyball contest, AWC Baseball hired Jon Wente to lead the Matadors

WELLTON, Ariz. (KYMA) - Antelope Union High School would storm all the way back, winning three straight sets, to defeat Mountainside High School 3-2 sets Tuesday night at Sid Grande Gym.

Arizona Western College hired a new Head Baseball Coach Jon Wente to lead the charge. He comes into the role with nearly 30 years of coaching experience.

In other baseball news, the NL West is heating up, especially after the Diamondbacks walked off the Giants in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday night.

In NFL news, the Chargers traveled to Vegas to face the Raiders. The bolts would cruise past Las Vegas 20-9 on Monday Night Football.
