Friday Night Lights Week 4

Kofa breaks a 27 game losing streak, winning at home for the first time since 2017 and Somerton scored their first varsity touchdown ever

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - NBC's Friday Night Lights aired their fifth show during the fourth week of the high school football season.

The Kofa Kings secured their first win in 27 games, and while doing so, broke an eight year drought of not winning at home.

The Somerton Toros finally had a true home opener, playing in Somerton, in front of a home crowd. On their own turf, they also scored their first varsity touchdown in program history.

Central and Imperial remain undefeated and continue to look like the top dogs in the IVL.
