CBS 13 SPORTS: Padres sweep Giants take control of NL West

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The San Diego Padres swept the San Francisco Giants with an 11-1 win Wednesday, as Nick Pivetta allowed one run over 6 2/3 innings and Ramón Laureano went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, moving San Diego a game ahead of the Dodgers in the National League West.

In Yuma, the Naturals Baseball Academy will represent Team USA at a February 2026 tournament in Mexico, giving local players ages 12 to 14 the chance to face the Mexican national team.
