CBS 13 SPORTS: Diamondbacks rock Padres 6-2, spoil Sears first start

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The D-Backs took care of business behind Brendan Pfaadt, beating the Padres 6-2 spoiling newly acquired Padre, JP Sears first start.

Meanwhile, the RBI D-Backs, featuring five Yuma County players, opened their national tournament with a clutch 8-7 win over the RBI Tigers in Florida and they're back at it Tuesday against RBI Patterson.

Back here at home, Gila Ridge Girls Volleyball has a new leader the Hawks hired former Yuma Catholic coach Maris Grasis as head coach, as he looks to raise the bar after an 8-9 season.
