YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Continuing our prep football summer series, we spoke with Rick Stewart, the new head coach at Calipatria High, leading the Hornets after their 2024 CIF title with strong experience.

Meanwhile, the MLB trade deadline saw the Diamondbacks trade Merrill Kelly to the Rangers and send injured pitchers Shelby Miller and Jordan Montgomery to the Brewers.

The Padres also made key moves to boost their playoff push.
