Artist raises funds for LA wildfire victims

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - California printmaker Lily Arnold is showing what it means to love your neighbor.

The artist, who was affected by the state's recent wildfires, is using her art to raise money for her community.

She created a wild flower design that people can print out on literally anything and bring a little happiness to their lives.

She printed the design on T-shirts and started selling them. So far, she's sold nearly 1,000 of them raising more than $12,000.

The money she says she'll be giving over to the Cal-Fund, a relief organization that provides people with food and other needs.
