Tracking a fantastic final weekend of summer

Weather Authority/ KYMA

As we have our final weekend of the summer season I am tracking slightly warmer temperatures with drier conditions. It's still going to be such a great weekend ahead.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy FriYAY! It's been a fantastic Friday!

I am tracking a calm and clear evening ahead with cooling temperatures and low humidity. Today is also National Cheeseburger Day, it will be a great night to grill up your own burgers or dine out on the patio.

We have a lower pressure system continuing to stay in place toward the north, which is keeping our temperatures pleasant and slightly a few degrees cooler than normal for the weekend.

We will have even drier and more comfortable conditions heading for the weekend. Dew points will finally drop into the 40s and 30s. It will be so nice to spend some time outdoors.

LOOKING AHEAD: For our first week of the fall season we will have warmer temperature, but it will only be a little warmer than average.

For the final days of summer I am tracking nice temperatures with highs in the low 100s and overnight lows trending in the low and mid 70s. We will also see a few clouds by Sunday, but no rain is expected and dry conditions will be staying put.

Fall will begin next Tuesday at 5:05 pm and we will have seasonable temperatures to start the season. Temperatures will slightly warm up later next week.
