Onvida Health lifts visitor restrictions as flu season comes to an end

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Due to flu season coming to an end, Onvida Health says visitation restrictions have been lifted.

The restrictions were implemented back in January due to an increase in of flu and RSV cases, and were limited to only one visitor at a time, and they had be 16-years-old or orlder.

The hospital says the guidelines help ensure the safety for both its patients and staff while acknowledging the importance of human interaction in the healing process and expresses gratitude to the community for its cooperation and understanding.

While they are seeing fewer cases, Onvida Health says they are asking visitors to use good judgment if they are feeling unwell.
