Gusty winds disrupt California Mid-Winter Fair

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Gusty weather caused some disruptions at the California Mid-Winter Fair this weekend.

According to a notice posted on their Facebook page Saturday, it says, "In the event of changing weather conditions, and the safety of our guests, some rides, exhibits and entertainment may not be available to the public. They will reopen as the weather permits."

The notice also adds that attendees "consider this prior to using or purchasing tickets and wristbands. No refunds or exchanges."

The California Mid-Winter Fair kicked off Friday, February 28 and will go until Sunday, March 16.
