Suspect in UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson charged
UPDATE (1:56 PM): The suspect in the UnitedHealthcare CEO shouted and was disruptive as he arrived for his extradition hearing Tuesday afternoon.
Luigi Mangione emerged from a sheriff's office car outside the Blair County Courthouse yelling and moving his shoulders as officers tried to hold him still.
He was handcuffed and dressed in orange prison garb.
Mangione looked back at reporters and shouted: "It's completely out of touch and an insult to the intelligence of the American people and their lived experience!"
He was quickly ushered into the building.
The Blair County Courthouse is the same courthouse where he was arraigned Monday night.
During Tuesday's hearing, Mangione refused to waive extradition and bail was denied.
