Gloria Allred announces lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs
LOS ANGELES (KYMA, KECY/NBC) - Attorney Gloria Allred and an alleged victim of Sean "Diddy" Combs are holding a press conference Tuesday.
According to NBC News, the press conference is to announce a lawsuit against Combs that both the victim, identified as Thalia Graves, and Allred have filed.
During the press conference, Graves alleged that Combs drugged and raped her at his New York recording studio in 2001, and says she has suffered from "flashbacks, nightmares and intrusive thoughts" in the years since.
"Some of the hardest parts of this pain are the shame and the guilt I have experienced that plays a negative part in my day to day, ability to function properly. Being blamed, questioned and threatened has often made me feel worthless, isolated and sometimes responsible for what happened to me.
The combination of physical and emotional and pain has created a cycle of suffering from which it is so hard to break free. I want to continue on this journey towards recovery and healing. I'm glad that he is locked up, but that's a temporary feeling of relief."

The press conference comes a week after Combs was arrested following an investigation that resulted in Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents serving multiple search warrants and raided Combs' mansions in Los Angeles and Miami earlier this year.
Combs was later charged with three felonies, including racketerring, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs remains jailed in New York without bail and has pleaded not guilty.
