Iowa Democratic chairman steps down
Resignation follows caucus chaos
DES MOINES, Iowa (KYMA, KECY) - The chairman of the Iowa Democratic Party has resigned.
Troy Price delivered his letter of resignation Wednesday. It comes on the heels of last week's disastrous Democratic caucuses. An app malfunction delayed the results for days. Now both Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg are calling for a recanvass.
In the letter Price writes:
"I hope the party can regain the trust of those we lost and turn our attention to what is most important -- winning in November."
