Yuma local wins grand prize to see the premiere of Mission Impossible in New York

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - One lucky Yuma local won a grand prize to see the premiere of Mission Impossible in New York City.

Andy Canchola said he entered a TikTok contest where he had to create a filter for the movie.

Little did he know, he would end up being the grand prize winner, receiving an all-expense paid trip from Yuma to New York to watch the premiere of Mission Impossible.

Marly Canchola, Andy's wife, said when he received the news, he was so shocked, he dropped his phone on the floor.

Canchola said he has been a die-hard Tom Cruise fan since he can remember, and being at his movie premiere was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

He got to meet several cast members and watch the movie on the big screen alongside them for the very first time.
